As summer draws to a close and the golden light of September begins to settle over the countryside, we find ourselves reflecting on a season of quiet transformation here at Marloe Watch Company. The past few months have been a time of building - not just in the physical sense, but in spirit, ambition, and momentum.
We’ve begun laying the foundations of something new: our very own assembly facility. Walls have risen, benches have been ordered, and tools are finding their place. It’s no longer a dream on paper - it’s becoming a living, breathing workshop where the quiet hum of craftsmanship will soon fill the air. Come October, this space will welcome the first entire collection ever to be assembled within our HQ: the Aerodyne.
The Aerodyne is a bold step forward for us. Inspired by the elegance of aeronautical engineering and the thrill of motion, it represents a new chapter in our design language. It marks a shift from “British Design” to “British Built.” The phraseology around watchmaking in Britain is delicate, but for us it’s simple - we want to show the world what can be achieved when passion, skill, and perseverance meet under one roof.
This week also marks another exciting moment: our Marloe Road Trip event in the Cotswolds, taking place this Thursday evening. It’s a chance to connect with our community, share stories, and celebrate the journey we’re on together. If you’re joining us, we look forward to welcoming you - it promises to be a memorable evening.
Our team, too, is on the move. Next week we'll be making something of a pilgrimage to the west coast of Scotland to visit Ardnamurchan Distillery. Last year we released the Glenbeg Blue, in collaboration with Ardnamurchan, to celebrate their 10-year anniversary - and this year it's our turn - we celebrated 10 years in March and this Christmas we'll be releasing our very own single cask bottling to mark the occasion - exciting times indeed.
In addition, in the coming weeks, we’ll welcome two new members into the fold. Each new arrival adds fresh energy and ideas, strengthening our ability to craft, to tell our story, and to keep building the company we believe in. From a small idea to a growing family, Marloe is becoming more than we could have imagined.
So while summer slips quietly away, autumn brings with it a fire of its own - new beginnings, new hands at work, and a new chapter waiting to be written. The Aerodyne is only the start - the road ahead is just as exhilarating. In the months to come, we’ll unveil the Sceptre S2, introduce bold new colourways of the Morar 310, and lift the curtain on something truly special - the Skysplitter - all assembled in-house by our team. Each model represents a step further in our journey, and we cannot wait to share them with you.
Thank you for being part of this journey. As the seasons change, so do we - and we’re excited for what lies ahead.

Ardnamurchan, you say?
You have my order.
I became the proud owner of a Coniston Trackday 509. It was an anniversary gift from my wife, and I’m just blown away. My first ‘real’ watch and Marloe were just so helpful to my wife! It’s such a beautiful watch and I have loved following the design narrative in the reference book. I feel like I’ve found a new passion! I am now looking at complementary watch straps to sit alongside my beautiful Gulf colour Nato strap. So impressed! Thank you
I’ve followed ya’ll and admired your commitment to the craft and passion for horology. You consistently produce top notch work and your attention to your growing fan base is to be admired. So heres a " I’m proud of you" all the way from Oklahoma, USA!
What a brilliant year 2025 has been for the Marloe team. Love the fact that with so many quality micro brands to choose from now you haven’t followed the heritage trend and you resolutely blaze your own forward thinking trail. Nothing out there looks or feels like a Marloe. Keep doing what you are doing.
Since discovering Marloe around the time of lock-down I’ve followed your progress enthusiastically, in the time purchasing two watches, and now you seem to be entering a new phase confidently.
I like the direction you’re heading in with bringing assembly in-house so look forward to seeing the results of Gordon’s and your labour.
Can I just add one small comment; Ardnamurchan is not in the Western Isles.
