Inspired by the aerofoil boats that dominate the America’s Cup, the AC75 pays tribute to the unmatched speed, uncompromising design, and sheer audacity of sailing on a razor’s edge. The competition fuses mastery of the sea with Formula 1-level innovation to create a spectacle of ultra-performance racing. These prototype monohulls don’t just skim the water - they soar above it on aerofoils. Equipped with soft wing sails and electrically powered hydrofoils, they can hit blistering speeds of over 55.5 knots (63 mph) - proof of why these extraordinary machines are reserved for the world’s elite sailors.

A deep black dial, embossed with our new wave texture, hosts polished appliqué and a raised black chapter ring accented with teal and white markings. Surrounding it is a bi-directional bezel, finished with dual-tone paint fills - aquamarine and blazing red-mirroring the dial’s vibrant accents and the anchor-shaped counterweight on the seconds hand. Clean, bold, and unmistakably competitive.

DISTINCTIVE DESIGN

The dial is the heart of the Sceptre S2, designed for clarity and impact. Its multi-layered construction begins with a tall, squared chapter ring carrying a precise 60-minute/second scale, before dropping to a textured main surface that emphasises depth and legibility. The etched dial hosts bold appliqué, including a striking cardinal marker inspired by the radioactive symbol - three triangles and a circle - alongside polished steel-framed batons, all filled with Superluminova for exceptional visibility.

Complementing the dial is the new propeller-style handset, featuring sword-shaped hour and minute hands with generous lume pads and an aperture detail on the minute hand that aligns perfectly with the hour lume. A hairline seconds hand adds refinement with its polished finish, anchor counterweight, and printed accent colours. Together, these elements create a dial that is not only highly legible but visually dynamic, blending rugged functionality with distinctive design.
