Our trench watch-inspired Daytimer is equipped with the Swiss-made Sellita SW-261-1 manual movement, featuring a sub-second dial at 6 o'clock that integrates a date complication.

DETAILS

The Tableau takes inspiration from the work of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch master who used bold, geometric shapes in the primary colour scheme for some of his most famous pieces - one of which is called 'Tableau I'. These colours and grid-like structures featured heavily in early 20th century art and design, and are usually affiliated, fairly or unfairly, with the “Bauhaus” movement.

The movement’s emphasis on creating functional, mass production ready products that embraced simplicity and a 'form follows function' principle helped to shape the Tableau. So it seems fitting to create a Daytimer that celebrates this process.

The Devil's in the Detail

The Tableau, inspired by Piet Mondrian’s “Tableau I,” balances playfulness with design precision. Its honeycomb-textured dial features a bold trio of colours, with each hand matched to its markings—white for hours, yellow for minutes, and red for seconds. Superluminova BG-W9 lume ensures readability in low light, while the rounded case with vintage-style wire lugs and a black-infilled crown adds a classic touch. Produced in small batches, each watch is uniquely serialised.

The Daytimer Tableau is powered by the utilitarian Swiss Made Sellita SW-261-1 manual movement which features a sub-second hand at 6 o'clock and a quick-set date complication. Another bullet-proof calibre from Sellita that we're proud to have power the Daytimer - we believe in doing things properly.

A NOD TO POCKET WATCHES

The case has a two-piece rounded profile, a reference to the pocket watches from which modern wristwatches originated, and has welded wire lugs to continue this connection. Unlike cumbersome pocket watches, the Daytimer measures a very wearable 41.1mm in diameter and a slim 10.5mm thick.

I have pondered over this watch for over 4 months. But fell for it the 1st time I laid eyes on it. After seeing it in person, with a 20mm bracelet made it perfect for me. This watch has true depth, craftsmanship, attention to detail. Hearing from Gordon the inspiration behind the watch, tipped me over the edge !!
