Five watches. One landmark moment in the Marloe story.

When we set out to build our own workshop, we weren't simply creating a space to assemble watches. We were laying the foundations for a new chapter, bringing assembly, servicing and repairs closer to the heart of Marloe

To mark that moment, we created something rather special - The Watchmaker Edition.

Built upon the Pacific architecture, each watch features a British-made dial crafted by the talented team at Bedford Dials, and is individually assembled at Marloe HQ by our Head Watchmaker, Alison.

Just five numbered pieces have been made, celebrating the workshop, the skills it now houses, and the next stage in Marloe's journey.

ASSEMBLED IN-HOUSE

The Watchmaker Edition is proudly assembled in-house, allowing us to maintain complete control over quality and detail at every stage. This hands-on approach ensures that every watch reflects the care, precision, and craftsmanship that define our brand - making each piece not just a product, but a personal expression of our commitment to excellence.

THE HEART OF MARLOE

The Watchmaker Edition takes its inspiration from the tools, materials and traditions that surround the watchmaker's bench. The criss cross line pattern on the dial is a subtle nod to the classic watchmaker's jacket, with its distinctive striped fabric long associated with precision craftsmanship.

The soft green subdial is drawn directly from the colour of the Bergeon work mats found on watchmaking benches around the world, a familiar backdrop to countless hours of assembly, servicing and repair. Completing the design are the intricate minute markers, whose shape has been lifted from the butt of traditional Bergeon screwdrivers, perhaps the most iconic tools in a watchmaker's arsenal.

Together, these details create a watch that celebrates not only the craft of watchmaking, but the workshop, tools and expertise that now sit at the heart of Marloe.

BUILT IN-HOUSE

12 years ago, Oliver - co-founder of Marloe - had a dream: to create a watch brand that embraced the unique, captured the romance of mechanical movements, and made them accessible to those stepping into the world of horology for the first time. That dream found its perfect counterpart in industrial designer Gordon Fraser, and together they’ve brought it to life.

Twenty collections and 20,000 watches later, Marloe stands for uncompromising design and remarkable quality. And now, in our 12th year, we’ve taken a bold step forward - bringing watch assembly in-house. This marks a new chapter not only for us, but for British watchmaking itself. It’s a move that deepens our connection to craftsmanship, elevates our standards, and reaffirms our commitment to building something lasting and meaningful.

One of our favourite young British brands, Marloe watches cannot be matched for great British value

Marloe caught our eye for two reasons - one, their care and craftsmanship, and two, their thoroughly reasonable prices

FLUID AND EFFORTLESS

The Watchmaker Edition uses the Pacific case, a design born from the ambition to create a watch that feels fluid and effortless despite its underlying complexity. The case is defined by a single unbroken compound curve, inspired by the smoothness and simplicity of flight at altitude, while the underside takes cues from the profile of an aircraft wing, introducing more dynamic forms that reference airflow.

A distinctive waveform line runs around the case, carefully shaped to maintain a slim, comfortable profile on the wrist, with sculpted scallops removed from each corner of the caseback to enhance both the visual elegance and everyday wearability of the watch.
