The Devil's in the Detail

The dial of the Pacific 52 has a pillow cross-section - it rises up from the edge of the dial to a central plateau - which makes the dial jump out from the confines of the case. Designed with a classic 'of the era' aesthetic in mind, it takes colouring from the brushed metal fuselages, cowlings and apertures and adds a subtle salmon highlight. The central plateau is a sandpaper texture with beautiful applied polished numerals. Classic, restrained and beautiful.

The Pacific features our first ever tri-finish case, with polished upper and lower decks, vertically brushed sides and, as a nod to the utilitarian mechanics of the jet age, a frosted surface in each side-aperture. Combined, these three finishes create a spectacular, ever-changing case.

Applied Indices

The dial features elegantly applied numerals around the dial finished in polished salmon.

Of the era

Designed with a classic 'of the era' aesthetic in mind, the dial takes colouring from the brushed metal fuselages, cowlings and apertures and adds a subtle salmon highlight.

MOVEMENT

Our customised Sellita SW215-1 is a manual movement with 24 jewels, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, adjusted in three positions with a power reserve of 40+ hours.

BOX CRYSTAL

The Pacific's incredible sapphire box crystal has the most stunning refractions, you'll simply never get bored of checking the time.

Tri-Finish Case

The Pacific features our first ever tri-finish case, with polished upper and lower decks, vertically brushed sides and, as a nod to the utilitarian mechanics of the jet age, a frosted surface in each side-aperture.

The Pacific range is undoubtedly Marloe's finest to date. Great design, vintage vibe with a modern twist. Will get a lot of wrist time. Worth every penny. Very happy customer.

Oliver & Gordon have created something truly timeless and rather special with the Pacific ‘52. Really such an achingly elegant and beautifully engineered timepiece.

Kirk H.

What a design! It’s unique to the period, with attractive detailing alongside an essence of simplicity. To be the owner of such an elegant timepiece was worth every penny.

Pacific 52

The Pacific 52 draws on the de Havilland Comet for it's inspiration - the world's first commercial jet liner to cross the pacific and circumnavigate the globe - an airplane that changed aviation for good. The Comet was designed with an aerodynamically clean design and turbojet engines buried in the wings, not to mention a pressurised cabin and square windows.

But it was the lavish lifestyle that caught the public's imagination - entrance lobbies, powdering rooms and multiple feet of legroom - the 52 is our ode to this super-fast, elegant form of travel.

CLASSIC SIZING

The case of the Pacific measures 40mm in diameter, a comfortable size for most wrists, and features 20mm lugs - a classic sizing combination. To the peak of the box sapphire crystal the watch has a depth of 12mm, whilst the 47.9mm lug-to-lug sizing complements the case perfectly.
